High-Risk Search Warrant Executed in Connection with February Homicide of Port Angeles Senior
Law enforcement officials made a significant move on Monday in the ongoing investigation into the February murder of 73-year-old Clallam County resident Danny Kendrick.
On May 11, Clallam County Sheriff’s Detectives, aided by the Peninsula Crisis Response Team and the Port Angeles Police Department, executed a high-risk search warrant at a residence located in the 1300 block of West 9th Street in Port Angeles.
According to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office, the operation aimed to secure evidence related to Kendrick’s death.
Once the scene was secured, detectives searched the property and successfully located evidence that authorities say will further the ongoing homicide investigation.
While significant progress was made with the search, law enforcement confirmed that no arrests have been made at this time, and the investigation remains active.
The development follows months of investigation into what was originally reported as a suspicious death.
On February 21, at approximately 7:22 a.m., deputies responded to the 6300 block of Deer Park Road, where Kendrick was found dead.
Investigators later confirmed that the 73-year-old died from gunshot wounds, officially classifying the case as a homicide.
In the initial stages of the investigation, detectives worked closely with the Washington State Patrol Crime Scene Response Team to collect and process trace evidence at the Deer Park Road location.
The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office continues to ask for the public’s help in solving Kendrick’s murder.
Anyone with information related to this incident or the newly recovered evidence is strongly encouraged to come forward. Tips can be directed to the Clallam County Sheriff’s Office non-emergency dispatch line at 360-417-2459, or submitted online at www.clallamcountywa.gov/497/sheriff.

I do have or had a reason ,circumstantial though it may have been to have suspected one of those people. and the road I am referring to is deer park road.
I figured it was those satanic worshippers ,febtanyl junkies, methamphetamine users maybe makers who live in the trailers on the parcel with the great big red barn..who haven't paid rent to the owner in over a year, whose druggie daughter let them move in there.now there's 3 trailers on just that side ..those people have been caught burglarized the owners home one night in February when she walked in on the thieves and their homeless friend. They are letting other homeless friends of theirs move onto the property .the owner is too afraid of them to do anything. plus her druggie daughter ( warrant to boot) is probably getting her dope from them.Sherriffs won't do a thing..but their hands are tied until unlawful detainer is filed. its a trap house now said a childhood friend from just down the road..WAY too much activity there.AND across the street at the the other property too. some scammer who has had an unaddressed trailer ( allowed by the countu) ugh. says hes the" manager" of the parcels but hes a swindler and doper too.damn.
