A Clallam County judge has overturned the Superior Court Administration’s categorical denial of an administrative records request, affirming the public’s right to government transparency regarding communications between Judge Brent Basden and his former subordinate.
Accountability in much of Clallam County’s leadership has been needed for quite sometime. Sunlight is the best disinfectant. Thank you and congrats on another win.

Because a couple of times I had thought about how the clallam county " powers that be" were attempting to hide,bury, make these emails between Clallam Superior Court Judge Basden and defendant Johnny Watts ,recently arrested with large amounts of narcotics which were for trafficking ... I mean what could possibly be within those emails that they really dont want anybody( ie the public ) to read. Perhaps they are paranoid, erring on the side of caution ,but it will be interesting to find out .Of that I am certain. Keep us posted if anything good is in them!
