You should investigate the corruption that was covered up in 2024 where two court clerks who work under both of these judges Victoria Montez and Lisa MacDonald were using their county work email to mock and discuss sensitive court case matters including mocking of a sexual assault victim during her victim impact speech and they swept it under the rug.

Basden is willfully incompetent. I witnessed multiple hearings in a divorce case where he completely ignored solid evidence to rule in favor of his favorite attorney who was blatantly lying (proven in multiple emails), but Basden deliberately ignored her behavior and lies. He also violated civil rights of one, telling him how he was to speak with people outside of the courtroom. Basden is an embarrassment to Clallam County, but that whole court is a cesspool of corruption and backroom dealings.

Also, look into Basden’s appointment. He was 1 of 8 candidates. Gov Inslee only interviewed him and gave him the job during their brief 30 minute interview. On top of that, Basden has had the luxury of running unopposed ever since

I know from bitter experience how evidence is dismissed , perjury is encouraged , and the scum who were protected by those in power . It was decades ago for me and my husband , but I see it has not changed .

Is Basden the former partner of Lane Wolfley?

No, he was from Basden & Hansen PLLC

Yes is. They all shared office space. I remember because wolfly was my mom's divorce attorney and Basden stood in for on a couple of occasions.

Wolfley had a guy by that name when he was young .

It’s possible he may have been there early in his career. He had his own practice for a little over 13 years before being appointed

I'm almost positive he parted ways and began his own firm. My husband and I had a horrid experience with Wolfley and the county

Wolfley is just as corrupt. It would be nice if some how they could all be investigated and shown for the horrible people they truly are.

All these years later seeing that the same rot continues ....

Ok, makes sense. His online history didn’t go that far back perhaps. I’ve seen the Wolfley son practice in Clallam….he’s awful. It’s so frustrating to have such limited options in Clallam. And some attorneys won’t even represent you if the other party retains one particular attorney….which is highly problematic

If I told my story of what we went thru with the court one would think I was a lunatic , but it was the worst two yrs of trying to fight the good ol ' boys. I believe there are two W sons , and I'm sure Daddy taught them all the tricks . We went in not knowing we were up against such corruption .

Was the three of them. Wolfley, Basden and Hansen
