Clallam County has always been about the good old boy network whether a judge, politician or county/city employee getting the promotion or the family member getting the job. If you’re not in the club, too bad for you. Our county leaders have had minimal accountability for decades and it’s past time that they do. I hope for great success for you on the hearing.
This is an amazing work. I hope that justice prevails. (Not Clown County justice, mind you, real justice.) Basden should be removed from his bench, and replaced. All of his decisions should be scrutinized, especially those involving his "friends".
Also, that Elder Benjamin Mavy or alleged rapist Benjamin Mavy or alleged child abuser Benjamin Mavy or good ole buddy of Judge Basden Benjamin Mavy...that guy...never heard of the Streisand effect, obviously.
The Olympic Herald announced it’s opening on Jan 7, 2026. References to Judge Basden and the LDS connections were made not too long after and further connections were revealed throughout the following months. Ladder Day Secrets were exposed.
It was predictable that the powerful LDS church would not allow this. So in a mere 4 months we find the Olympic Herald is in court to remove over thirty articles connecting people who are either friends of, partners with or benefited from LDS powers.
Are those who help others doomed to suffer as a result of their helpfulness? We will see on April 16th.
I am a video journalist of 18 years. I believe Anthony’s skills, integrity, and bravery are a precious gift to the peninsula. Silencing him would be deeply wrong. This is a person worth rallying around, and supporting financially.
I did not know about Wolfley or Basden being tied to LDS church. The LDS church also is tied to/or based from Freemasons. Thank you for informing many of us in Clallam County! Best wishes!
