Under Oath: Court Documents Reveal a Decade of Sexual Misconduct and Boundary Invasion Complaints at QVSD
In our previous investigation, we reported on a 20-year history of administrative negligence, ignored red flags, and severe boundary violations by Quillayute Valley School District staff.
Now, newly surfaced federal court documents provide a stark, statistical look at the district’s track record, confirming that the high-profile incidents previously reported were part of a persistent, decade-long pattern that district leadership was forced to manage year after year.
As part of the federal civil rights lawsuit Larson v. Quillayute Valley School District, the district was legally compelled to answer a series of “Interrogatories”—formal written questions that must be answered under oath and submitted to the court.
When asked by the plaintiff’s attorneys to identify all documents including complaints of discrimination against the district over the last ten years, the district’s legal counsel provided a summarized list of “all sex harassment or boundary invasion-based discrimination complaints received in the past 10 years.”
Pages 9 through 12 of the court filing are included below. These pages list details of 19 separate incidents involving staff, coaches, and students between the 2015-2025 school years.
