A massive multi-agency search and rescue operation is currently underway in the waters near Point Wilson after an individual reportedly fell overboard from a 12-foot vessel.

The U.S. Coast Guard Sector Puget Sound initiated the public alert, stating that they are actively searching the vicinity for the missing boater.

The Coast Guard is being closely assisted by international partners, including the Royal Canadian Air Force, underscoring the scale and urgency of the ongoing rescue efforts.

Local authorities have also deployed resources to the area. According to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, their deputies have joined forces with the Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife and Jefferson Search and Rescue.

These local teams are currently scouring the waters using specialized vessels and aerial drones, coordinating directly with the Coast Guard and Canadian forces.

The identity of the individual and the specific circumstances surrounding the incident have not yet been released as crews remain focused on the active search operation.
