The Clallam County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating a 35-year-old man who disappeared after setting out on a borrowed motorcycle toward the Elwha River in November 2025.

Loren T. Ciceri was last seen in November 2025 in the Elwha River Road area, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The last known trip

On the evening of Nov. 18, Ciceri borrowed a motorcycle from a friend, the release stated. His reported intent was to ride to the Elwha River access beneath the Elwha River Bridge, off Crown Z Water Road, to meet a friend.

The Sheriff’s Office said his anticipated route ran westbound on West Edgewood Drive, south on Laird Road, west on Elwha River Road and then north on Crown Z Water Road. According to the friend he was planning to meet, Ciceri never arrived.

On the afternoon of Nov. 19, the motorcycle was reported abandoned off the roadway in the 1700 block of Elwha River Road, a short distance from his intended destination, the release stated. His backpack and helmet were found with the motorcycle.

Residents in the area reported seeing a man, believed to be Ciceri, working on the motorcycle, according to the Sheriff’s Office. When the motorcycle was later retrieved, it was found to have a mechanical problem.

The Sheriff’s Office did not say when the mechanical problem was identified or when the motorcycle was recovered, and it did not describe what investigative steps have been taken in the months since Ciceri was last seen.

Description

The Sheriff’s Office described Ciceri as a white male, 5 feet 7 inches tall and approximately 115 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is missing an upper incisor.

He was last seen wearing dark clothing, including black Carhartt pants, a dark jacket and black Hardy gloves, the release stated.

Ciceri has been transient in the Port Angeles area for approximately the past two years, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
