Carl King, a Sequim man facing charges involving child sexual abuse material, remains scheduled to stand trial February 22, 2027, in Clallam County Superior Court.
Under an August 28 scheduling order signed by Judge Elizabeth Stanley, the four-day trial is set to begin at 9 a.m. A status and omnibus hearing is scheduled for January 8, 2027, at 1 p.m.
As we previously reported, King was arrested in April in a case involving four counts of possessing depictions of minors engaged in sexually explicit conduct and one count of tampering with physical evidence.
King attended the August 28 hearing and was not in custody. Judge Stanley set the February trial date at that hearing.
