The Washington State Commission on Judicial Conduct convened for its scheduled business meeting on Friday, February 6, keeping to a brief agenda highlighted by the announcement of a new internal initiative.
During the Executive Director’s report, the Commission announced the formation of a judicial anti-harassment taskforce. The stated goal of the new taskforce is to improve the work environment within the judicial branch, specifically hoping to make the workplace a more respectful place for “everyone who works there.”
The meeting was otherwise procedural in nature. The Commission announced that there were no stipulations or formal decisions to release this session. Minutes from the November meeting were approved as written.
The session was opened for public comment, but none was offered.
The Commission is scheduled to reconvene for its next business meeting on April 24, 2026. That session will be held at the Skybridge Hotel at SeaTac.
